This field indicates the organization's scope. Each organization is identified as either local, national, or international. The scope is assigned by one of our analysts, and is intended to assist in identifying if the donor is a local donor, national donor or international donor. National is generally defined as any organization with programs that extend beyond the boundaries of the state in which the organization is located. All 4-year higher education institutions are assigned the national designation.

This field indicates when the donation was made, according to the source document. The field either contains a single year, or a fiscal year, depending on how the recipient organization identified the time period. Multi-year campaigns either have the year in which the campaign honor roll was published, or the entire time span of the campaign. If the source document does not indicate a time period, the year is the year in which the source material was added to our database.
To filter this data, use the Year start filter.

This field indicates when the donation was added to our database. This data does not appear in a column. However, you can filter the records using the Date added filter.
Note: Occasionally we identify a typographical error in the source document and make the corresponding correction. In addition, the assignment of the gift or activity category designation, or organization scope is based upon the judgment of our analysts using the information contained in the source document; however, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee the designation to be factually correct. Also, for any links, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee that the link will be in the same form and substance as when the link was first located.
